Southern Oregon Drone is in compliance with all of the above. Medford drone photography is becoming increasingly popular, and due to the beautiful scenery found within the Rogue Valley, this is not surprising.
Southern Oregon Drone will remain updated on the current status of all applicable UAS laws set forth by the FAA so that we are operating our medford drone photography operations legally and safely.
- Have a valid FAA pilots license
- Have a current medical certificate
- Submit an exemption request for FAA Section 333, which was passed in 2012, which banned commercial operations for drone photography and other drone uses.
